My Pom turns 16 ...
My Pom turns 16 tomorrow and we've spent this week celebrating his time with everything he likes to eat .. camping .. just being together.. He's mostly blind and deaf and his time is near. It's going to be a really bad day but it is coming. I've accepted that and will? rescue another quickly. I quote Will Rogers: 'I don't know where dogs go when they die, but that is where I want to go'. That is surely me. I'm surely thankful to our Lord Jesus Christ that he created dogs. Ron, Texas

oh God, I cried my ...
oh God, I cried my eyes out. It's been four and a half years since we had to? put down my first dog Pongo, because of his severe epilepsy, but I still miss him sometimes. He was such a rambunctious little thing and I was lucky to have him for six and a half beautiful years. We soon adopted another dog, Buffy, a loving little sprite of a dog and she is the joy of my life. Thank you for this touching video. I know that Pongo still watches over me and I am forever grateful I had him in my life.

@Br2veHe2rt`You dont need to cry to have a soul~a happy person has a soul~ All these wonderful animals on Jon's video and the pet's photos he wasn't able to put on the video, as there were so many, have made everyone of their owner's life whole and happy, I miss my dog and believe me I cried when she past, this video helps people to move on also and? be happy with the pet they have now. @ringtailroxy: As an atheist myself, I agree about souls: I was just using shorthand that most people can? relate to. I'm sorry I don't believe in afterlife with our pets or our people, the Rainbow Bridge, etc. Wish I could, it would be comforting. Meanwhile, knowing that we made a difference in the lives of the ones we did love while they were here will have to be enough.

@Br2veHe2rt I am an atheist, therefore, I do not believe in souls... and I still teared up and cried! I have lost 3 wonderful companions in the past 4 years,? with more to loose sooner than I want. I am also a Certified Veterinary Technician whom works exclusively in emergency and critical care for animals. Souls are not prerequisites for unconditional love, compassion, or respect. Consciousness is.
